Can anyone share some insight into how and or why my application has been at IP2 for over two months? I have never committed a crime. I am a mechanical engineer. I am 33. I am a native English speaker. It's all very disheartening and confusing
I have another issue. My apco police report has "live no trace" this means I was arrested but no conviction, so I subsequently have a record but nothing is on it. I was arrested when I was drunk and incorrectly identified by a taxi driver for criminal damage. So my question is... I have been asked for follow up information. How do I go about this what specifically do CIC want?
Hi, yes received Gcms note today but no good news sadly!!
It is same what agent told me Criminality in progress , eligibility recommended pass and file has not been touched since rcmp submission on may 1
My file was opened on may 3 but officer could not open the rcmp file (due to error on their end as mentioned in gcms) so made duplicate rcmp request on may 3. If the officer would not have had error on May 3 then hopefully the decision would have been made by now. My bad luck
Now just waiting for them to touch the file again
Everyone keeps saying that the due date doesn't matter. However my due date on GCMS notes was June 1st, and that was the date I got PPR. In my opinion, it's just a date when they plan to come back and check your file for progress (requested documents, PCCs, etc...) to see if the app can be moved on to the next stage. I have no proof of this of course, but it seems from my GCMS notes and PPR this was the case in my experience.

I can't say for sure because due date keep on changing with every GCMS order. My notes created on 24 April had due date of 26 June whereas the notes created on June 2 has due date of July 2. Can't say it matters much because many have due date which have already passed and they are still without PPR. But I also hope this comes true
