I think you didnt see the right message , but before maybe it was "we are processing your background check , next step is ...."
Because all people start with that.

No I had also the same message as kikou since reception of the AOR. "We are processing your background check" I am inland as well. I have not seen it changing by the way. It stills say the same thing on my GCkey although I got my DM and PPR

Do you have the tracking number for the return envelope?
My passport was delivered to CIC last Thursday and I haven`t heard anything from them. Moreover, I forgot to note the tracking number for the return envelope.

No not yet. Well I do not have my passport with me ( I have sent to to have an other country visa for professional mattee). I will wait an other week and if not received will call the immigration canada.

My Timeline..

1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 26, 2016.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on September 29, 2016.
3. We started processing your application on October 11, 2016.
4. Medical results have been received.

No information of PPR or DM yet

It has been almost 13 months since you first applied. Are you planning to contact them and 'complain' about it?

Do you call on same number for passport queries also.. I thought they only help till status changes to Decision Made.. I may be wrong.. I think I do have the tracking number for return envelope..

and some who applied on May 2016 Didnt yet.

Iam talking about Inland applicants, Tried to understand why , i noticied that most cases who got fast DM sent a Canadian PCC in their application , maybe that make less work for the immigration people who took decision.

when i say fast , its 9 , 10 , 11 months since they sent documents otherwise it is not fast

Can someome confirm ?

That shouldn't be the case as i said in my earlier post couple of folks(inland) from Nov i know who got PPR last week ,they have neither sent Canada PCC nor they were asked to ...it seems to be sole discretion of VO ...

Maybe I call tell you why.
I have a friend who took the medical exam because of the study permit. 5 months later (Otc. 2016), he came here and submit the PR application to federal with his CSQ. He got the PPR last week. I guess the VO found that his medical exam has had 5 months. Therefore, the speed is faster.......

Yeah your BG status change is good indication , i also confirmed with someone who received ppr last week and they have had observed similar BG status change transition(s) before DM ... hope we can figure out a common pattern )
