Thats true .. but it is mostly for those who called or emailed and got reply their files are finalized. Some of us who are at ip1 can't expect it so soon as when we called for update most of the checks pending or not started.
Just hoping for the best to come soon

I second this. It's still only 4 months in. I know that it seems like a long time - I was feeling the same way just a few days ago. But things are moving pretty fast, all things considered, and the month of June should see most of the February cohort get PPRs.
Take a break from the forum for a few days if you're feeling glum. I did that, and it really helps. Take a week off and come back.
I wish everyone here the very best of luck and look forward to seeing lots more PPRs soon.
Got my PPR, putting my timeline here for reference:
FSW-Inland
AOR Feb 12th
Meds passed and change to IP-1 8th April
No further changes (my application didn't go back to not applicable, it stayed in IP-1 the whole time until I received the PPR email)
PPR June 1st
Just some notes - I had an RCMP check from 2016 that I got for a job and so I had uploaded that upfront and didn't receive any requests for another one.
Also for those wondering about travel history having an effect on processing time, I have a fairly extensive travel history (50+ countries) and have been to some places that might raise a bit of interest (Yemen, Sudan, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan) and yet my application was still processed fairly quickly. So who knows how long things will take - I thought mine would take a lot longer!
Finally got in touch with CIC through Email and inquired specifically about my ELIGIBILITY & SECURITY since my BG went to IP on 27th May.
I was confirmed that my ELIGIBILITY was Passed & SECURITY was In Progress.
No idea how long it is going to take for all this to complete.
What do you think will be next step & how long is it going to take ?
Finally spoke to CIC agent after 30 min of waiting...
Agent told me that my file looks great and everything is complete, just awaiting to send PPR mail...
I told agent that my PGWP expires end of next month
then she said i will most likely receive PPR before expiry date of PGWP but can not guarantee.
Wait is killing me....
Anyone one the same boat and still have not received PPR??
Is PPR related to date of ITA ? instead of AOR date?
Earlier the ITA, faster the PRR no matter of AOR date...
CEC ITA - 11th January
AOR - 3rd February
Medicals Passed - 6th March
BG - NA--> IP1 (10 March)/ IP1--> NA (17 April)/ NA--> IP2 (6th May)
ADR - Travel history - 28th April
PPR - 8th June
I am PNP - Outland(INDIA) - E-APR date 6th Feb 2017.
My Medicals passed on March 10th and ever since then it shows as - Next step is to conduct background check
I have emailed CIC for which they have responded saying that my file is in Sydney Nova Scotia
Finally I got my PPR today through my CIC online instead of email. It has been 129 days for my CEC application.
My timeline:
CEC inland
AOR: Jan 30th, 2017
Eligibility passed in late April.
Background check still in IP(1), didn't goes to NA or IP(2).
I called CIC on Monday June 5, agent told me it was still under final decision.
However, I have an urgent issue need opinion from you guys..
I was physically in Canada when I submitted my application, but since my previous working permit has expired by the time I sent my application, I had both my home country and a Canadian address on file. Currently I am living in Canada with a valid visitor's visa. I had called CIC for multiple times during the process of my application, and they confirmed that my primary address in my profile is my Canadian address. But the Passport Request letter still asked me to send my passport to my home country visa office. In this case, may I and how could I request to send my passport to Ottawa office instead?
