Hello guys, I'm new here and I just read about the CRS cut-off tie breaker. I was under the impression that everyone gets an ITA if they meet the CRS cut off. But that's clearly not the case, this means that if my score stands at the minimum CRS cut off limit then I might have a lesser chance to be ranked higher since I recently deleted my profile and created a new one for OINP.
I was not expecting a long downtime too. CIC freezes everything so that nobody can update their profiles or create new ones as well. The Bad Gateway Error was there after the system update.

You mean you don't re-create your profile when it expires? Sorry, I haven't had an expired profile, I recently joined the pool about 2 months ago and re-created it 3 weeks ago.
CIC is agnostic to older profiles if they do not meet the CRS cut-off.
The way I see it, in previous draws the CRS would be the deciding factor as to how many ITAs are issued.
Now, the number of ITAs to be issued will decide the CRS, simple.
We will perhaps see that the number of ITA in every draw will now remain constant, or at least a whole number.
That's odd because Ontario requires you to create a new profile and Express Entry prefers older profiles. Hope the next draw doesn't stand exactly at my CRS score.
