Dont know. They say they take around 28 days to respond to emails but people are getting responses very quickly these days. I always emailed them.
If you email them very often, they will put your email on filter.
If it's a really urgent, you can right urgent in the subject line.however,it is on their discretion to deem your email " urgent". And reply accordingly!

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The subject line of this email and the initials included in the subject line are essential to avoid delays in processing requests and responses. Please include the initials written in the subject line of this email, in all future correspondence with us. For email communication, please use the “Reply to Sender” option of your email software which will keep the subject line intact in your response. For postal communication, please include these initials on the envelope, and highlight prominently on the cover letter.
Now it's clear, you follow the same email for further correspondence. Always use reply option rather than compose a new one.

Just need a bit of guidance regarding spouse sponsorship. I wanted to ask that i just had my Second Medical done on 31st May 2017.
Can anyone guide me what the next step will be now? I got an email a month and half earlier about ruksati reason and proof of communication. Just after almost a month now they asked for second medical to be done. I got that done. Now can anyone guide how long will it take for the next step, and more importantly what will the next step be?

Its a good sign that they sent you second medical. Most people get a "Decision Made" or "Passport request" after 2-4 weeks after getting re-med done. So be positive.

First message on the day of submission: Visa Application tracking id xxxxxxx has been submitted at Canada Visa Application Centre on 18/05/2017.
Second message next day: Visa Application tracking id xxxxxxx has been forwarded to the Canada Visa office , Islamabad on 19/05/2017.
