It´s funny how many people think the IELTS Listening part is the easiest, in my case this is actually the one that gives me the hardest time. I took the exam on May 13th with the following results L/R/W/S : 7/8/8/8 (Overall band 8).
With an 8 in Listening my CRS score would have been 427 (445 if I applied as single), but because of Listening it is only 364 and therefore I need to re-take the test. I'm not planning to join the pool until November, but it is still frustrating having to register for the test again just because of such a small margin.
Anyway, this the Ray of Hope thread and I'm doing all the Listening practice tests I can find, hoping to get a 9 next time and be with you guys in Canada in the future.
Welcome aboard! What you receive from Ontario is NOI which may come at any time and as per ITA, you have a pretty good shot for the next draw. Just stick around here as much as you can to catch the news, predictions and suggestions.

I am glad to see that the members here are so active. I called my lawyer on 17th he asked me to get back to him on 18th but the draw took place on 17th itself
That happened to me with British council. They withheld my results and without knowing my scores, I had to submit a handwritten justification of my English skills. I submitted that and found out I got 9 in both listening and reading. Chances are you aced the exam!( 2 Weeks delayed thoug)CONGRATS!
