Sir it's better to renew your son's passport now to prevent future delay. Once u got PPR it's difficult for you to renew as they consider minimum 6 months validity of passport for VISA.

Thanks Mannuji for the response. I have applied for his passport renewal on 20th may. Hoping to get it soon and inform the NDVO of his new passport number soon.

Going by this timeline, for those whose medical was done in Feb 2017, need to wait for another 3 months for the PPR????

Nomination Received: 30 Sep'16
1st AOR: 10th January'17
2nd AOR (File transfer to NDVO) : 9th Feb'17
MR: Awaiting
PPR: Awaiting

Same case with me. Been 3.5 months since medical done.
There is no update except "Inprocess".
Medical results have been received is the only status since last 3.5 months.

Its frustrating.

Going to be 4 months since medical done and still status is In-process and Medical results have been received.
Wondering what is happening with my file.

As per my understanding if they don't clear my file by June or July, it will be further delayed as the authorities will get busy with student visas on priority basis.
Or is it got to do with SINP nomination. They are delaying processing of files with province nominations and going ahead with EE applications.
