Hmm....We are different streams, we can not compare the timelines. I found due datein 2nd page just below our criminality, security......

I received my notes.

Notes requested date is May 3rd, 2017

Eligibility: Not Started
Security: Not Started
Criminality: In Progress
Medical: Passed

Application Assessment Due date: 8th May 2017.
Last note on my file is 31st March when I submitted travel doc, that means my files haven't been touched from 40+ days, currently file in CPC Ottawa

Not an expert in GCMS but I assume thats the date (Maximum time) they have to review the file

Not at all man, I felt so bad after reviewing my notes, criminality, security, eligibility haven't been completed and notes generated 10 days back and most disappointingly last touch on my file was on 31st march. They have not done anything except WES/Canadian degree evaluation and medicals. They still have to look into my NOC responsibilities/Employment records :'( I am guessing 2 more months for me

Guys I asked a question yesterday but no reply from anyone. Is there a way to call CIC to ask about the application status from India?? I am asking any other means other than GCMS. For us it has been 4 months complete and I don't want to order GCMS notes so was wondering if I can call and check.

calling CIC will not get much info on ur file. best way is to orger gcms. by the way u can also sharee your time line with grp to get an idea about your progress

not really, with some research knowledge, this time is like an activity calendar between officers. So one officer completed his/her tasks and assigned to next officer with the timeframe (activity assignment date)

all of sudden from being full throttle on CEC they have put brakes! and we are the unfortunate ones to be the first ones in the line...

Yes we are the unlucky ones. I dont feel they put a brake on CEC, they are issues PPR's for Feb and March. We are the most unlucky in CEC

Hi frnds,

I have applied for PR under OINP CEC category on Jan 21st 2017 and my AOR on jan 21st. My work permit expires on june 25 and so my husband work permit also expires on same day.My PR status shows "back ground check not applicable " since one month.I called CIC they are saying that my criminal background check is completed and security check not started.I was hoping to get my PPR soon but I feel they will take 1 month more .I have added my husband also on My PR application.Can I apply for me and my husband BOWP together ?I see that it is taking more than 1 month for the BOWP.Please advice .
