Hello Guys,
I am in a weird situation and need your thought on this. I received my PPR today but I am travelling on Jun 02 and need passport. Based on the time cic take to return, do you advise me to get extension and submit after my return or I would be able to get stamped pp back if I send by tomorrow.
hi guys...i am back with a question...
i did submit my RCMP record upfront with my file... but my GCMS notes says Finger Prints Reqd.. i am not sure is it usual or they somehow accidentally missed my RCMP. Although in the recommendation section from the agent...it says PC's provided for Canada and India.

hi Mani..congratulations your PPR...
i guess u should send them tomorrow and you will be fine...if you are in Ontario it takes max 7-8 days...and if your are from another province..then 10-11 days ...so i think you do not need to get extension and should submit your passports asap...today if you can... good luck for the rest of the process...cheers
Thats good info. What is PNP Inlander (provincial nomination) but that is a slow process anyways that takes 14-16 months. This is express entry. Just clarifying my doubts. I understand that this might take a while, I am not in hurry but I want everything done by July end since my marital status will change in August so i dont want to redo my entire file.
PNP-inland is a stream under express entry. When you apply for your PR, there are different streams like PNP-inland, PNP-ourland, FSW-inland, FSW-outland, and CEC, etc. While CEC generally takes 4 month to process , PNP-inland tends to take more time since it has more information to verify at the federal stage.
I know almost everyone who applied under the PNP-inland stream are still waiting for golden email, so best wishes to us all.
Congratulation on your marriage, and you will definitely have your PR by then. The year of 2017 is really treating you well!
hey man , so you cleared your medical today?? congrats bud!! I'm pnp-inland jan 20th aor, I'm still waiting for updates after my initial submissions and aor... probably will order gcms notes on the 20th of this month, as it'll be 4 months.

Hello Guys, Need help. From your experience, how long does it take for cic to return stamped passport back after receiving it. I have been told that it take 11-12 days, but I am travelling on June 02. Would that be too much on margin or I should be able to get it back comfortably if cic receive it on Monday, May 22 as canadapost usually don't deliver on weekends.

Hi,
On an average, CIC takes 7-8 days for approval. I sent my passport last Thursday, and they approved my application today. So far, return tracker is not activated. I am expecting passport with COPR by Friday provided they mail it tomorrow.
I live in Toronto. Please take few buffer days and calculate total period. I think you should be fine if you mail them tomorrow.
