How many days I can get the passport back from Ottawa office please?

Is there any timeline for the status "Waiting for treatment" to change?
I mean if this takes forever I might miss chance to apply for pnp somewhere else. Don't get me wrong but I'd rather get a direct no instead of this uncertain situation week after week

Mine has stayed "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." for like months...

Earlier it was "Your application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check." ...

Finally my journey of getting PR is completed today.
Got my passport with visa and COPR.
Now another journey starts!!

A question:
Why my information is deleted from the Tracking Sheet every time?
I add myself 5 times and every time, after 2-3 days, I find my information deleted.
