My work permit going to expire in 15 more days, My employer fine with me applying 1 day before as well. I still have faith that i hear good news soon which can save my 255$

AOR April 15th
Medicals passed May 10th

But my background check does not change to 'In progress'. it still shows as not applicable. when I called CIC the lady said my criminality is passed. She sounded very frustrated so I dint bother to ask anything more. Any insights? please

I called cic and lady on the phone confirmed me that my background check is completed and my file is waiting for final review.
I paid RPRF on May 05 and my BC is still in progress.

Anyone here can help getting an idea how long does cic takes to finalise. Appreciate your inputs. Thanks

I dont think we are allowed to apply paper base Application for the extension of the Work permit. This means you have to mail your application .
If thats the case , You have to make sure they receive the application before your permit expires .
