Carleton University admission process time

Hey,
can anyone please tell how much time does Carleton University takes to process admission application. I applied on 26 dec 2014 for Electrical and computer engg. (intake May 2015). The application status till date is "preliminary review". And also tell me my chances of getting admission.

My profile is:
10th: 82%
12th: 65%
B.Tech (CSE) : 71.4%
IELTS: 7 overall

This university usually takes a lot of time for processing applications, usually 3-4 months. I advice you to have another back-up if u want to go for may intake. I reckon carleton will disclose decision at the end of march.

Have you applied for Msc or Meng ?

If ur application status is "recomend for assesment" then u will get admission offer. But decision should be earlier otherwise u will not have much time to apply for visa

For how many weeks ur application status was"review in progress by department"?

i applied for Mengg in elecrtical n computr engineering for SUMMER intake 2015.
after "preliminary review" stage for more than 1 mnth the status changed to "recommended for assessmnt" on 6th Feb 2015.
Please let me know how long will this take for final decision and are the chances for getting admitted positive.

It took about 7 months for my application to be reviewed . I applied on Sept2014 and received an Admission offer on the 19th of may 2015 . They give good scholarship though. I kinda got a 10000 dollar scholarship with free residence for the first year .
