Sometimes adding unnecessary docs also put delays in the case, so if you think there are no red flags in your case then wait n watch.
My visa is valid till Dec 2015.

When you fetch your data on the base of Application number, applicant's data is provided and results are shown accordingly. So if the address is wrong on the applicant's data you may update VO by sending correct address.

You mean your COPR Valid till Dec. 2015. That means you have to land in canada by the end of 2015? is it so? beause i have heard they give 4-5 weeks notice tops to land in canada..
Could you calrify me please?

my question is my medical expire on 19 Feb 2015 and i am still waiting for passport first i am sure i will get passport before expire but if my passport come back after 19 or so on. they call me re medical or no. and i am already send email to London office and informed for this matter and i still waiting this reply too.

It means he has to land in Canada any time before the expiration of visa ( december 2015 )..

as per the current trend, few members got the remedical request even though their passports were at the CHC because the medical has to be valid to land in Canada.... may be you will get a request or get away with an extension... just pray!!!

Got my passport request on Jan 23 and was received in Islamabad Jan 28.
nothing after that though
but at least I am with my husband now, even if it is in Pakistan
and he met his daughter!

YES you are right.

But when i give application number and details of my spouse resultantly it shows the name of spouse. But in address section it shows my old address and in bracket its written as (c/o my name).

normally (as it shows in mine when I put the spouse information with file no.) it shows the address where my spouse is (which is my Pakistan's address). what address you provided for the spouse when filling up the application.? I think you messed it up a bit in the system by using use of representative form, try calling CiC and discuss with them, or write a detailed email to LVO.

Back from pakistan. Received an email from mps office.

Immigration people told them that my file is gone for a procedural fairness review.

What is that? How long does it take? Anyone know?

Depending on when the file is finalized and visa is issued, it can only be valid 1 yr from date of medicals.

So the time always varies in validity. But one must land before visa expiry, as IMM visa does not get extended.

YES, I think this the problem i used the representative form.

Our timelines are almost same. Hope we will hear something soon.

Dear All members -- This is husband case and our file got transferred directly at LVO on 25-April-2014. We didn't do upfront medical and was waiting for their medical instruction. Finally, Alhumdulillah I received medical request today. I have 30 days to undergo medical examination. I'll get an appointment for medical test by tomorrow morning over phone.
Can someone advise me what should I bring along with me at the time of medical examination? How many pictures (photos), size of photos, white background of the photos, anything else..?? Pls help.

Any other tip regarding the medical examination?

After medical examination how much time will be left till visa issuance? Any idea?

Yes they give usually 6 months visa validity time in which one has to land in Canada,,but some times 9 months to 1 year..But we all when get our visa stamped we take the 1st flight available,we don't waste time ..This can be beneficial for such cases like baby was born and now baby's immigration has to be done,,so this validity time is helpful so that baby visa is issued within visa validity time of mother and mother and baby can go together..If visa validity of mother is crossed and baby's immigration still in process means mother's immigration has to be done again..

if in shaa Allah all goes well. When do they issue visa after that?
