Attention all those who are still not able to get the Job Bank registration right. The 'Job Seeker Validation Code' IS NOT your password.
I am listing the steps that you need to follow to successfully register with jobbank.gc.ca
A) You do not need to create a Job Bank account. You have to create a Job match Account.
B) Here's the direct link for registering for the Job Match service
https://seeker.jobbank.gc.ca/seeker/login.xhtml
C) The registration process has 4 steps: Account, Confirmation, Validation, Security Questions Account: Enter your name, email id, desired password etc. and proceed to next level. Confirmation: Check the email that you entered in previous step for a confirmation code. Enter this code and click on continue to proceed to next level: Validation. Validation: you will be required to enter the 'Job Seeker Validation Code' here. Select that you are a Federal skilled program candidate and enter the code. Click on continue to proceed to next level. Security Questions: Choose and security questions and answers and complete the registration process.
D) You should receive a 'successful registration of account' email.
E) Check that MyCIC as updated your jobbank status and your profile should be in 'Open' state now.

Immediately after clicking on submit, my CIC application status gets set to Profile Ineligible and i get the pdf too. I have an overall IELTS score of 8 and 2yrs of work experience in the IT industry. I checked my points on points calculators across the web and they all say that i am eligible. am i doing something wrong with my application??

Have you completed your Job bank registration? The Job bank validation code is not received in mail. It is shown inside the pdf in your cic messages. Use the EE profile number and job bank validation code to register with jobbank.
Why am I required to apply to job bank when I already have a job in Canada. I have met the criteria for CEC, if i do not create a job bank profile, will my application be cancelled?
I have been trying to solve my problem with regards to Job Match. I have entered in my profile one particular NOC but in my dashboard, it is showing different NOCs. It says there that the Job Match showing in the dashboard is based on the profile I have entered. Now I am confuse. Is this normal? What to do? Kindly help. Thanks.

hi, just click on the message confirming your express entry is accepted and is directing you to job bank. Wait for a while for the "To view this message, click here". It will download a pdf document which will show your EE Profile No. and Job Bank Validation Code.
