Dhaka2014, what is the probability of asking PCC from all countries where you've stayed more than 6 month in past 10 years because I've spent 6 months ore more time into 5 different countries in the same period and this is really getting difficult to get PCC from all those countries. Time as well as money consuming activity..... Please share your opinion on that.
Hi, there is no other way, you will need to get PCC from all the countries where you have stayed for more than 6 months, this is mandatory requirement from CIC and so probability is 100%. In your case, 5 different countries as you stated!

Hi bro..
The probability of LVO asking that is almost 100%. As darklord mentioned as well.
This is a requirement for immigration is most of the countries. You have to prove that you were not involved in any crime.
I recommend that you start preparing (or at least know the process) to get the PCCs from all these 5 countries.
Best wishes.
A friend of mine lived in Dubai for 9 months on a work visa 11 years ago. 3 weeks before leaving the country he got police clearance certificate from Dubai. He never lived their again (only visited it for 3 days this year). Will CIC accept that 11 years old pcc (considering that it was covering all his duration of stay there and was obtained at the end) or he needs to get a fresh pcc from dubai? (as, the general rule is that pcc must not be more than 1 year old)
Anyone, having experience of getting pcc from dubai? The CIC website states that one can apply through courier but one forumite indicated that they never reply through courier and one need to visit dubai personally to get pcc!!
DHAKA 2014
I have applied under FSW 2132 NOC . My visa office is London.

Most probably from Abu Dhabi, UAE. But cannot really say as this is dependent on the Visa Officer at London

Yes, 11 year old PCC should be fine. If one has lived in a country for more than 6 months only then PCC has to be obtained from that country. All the best!

What's the present address you have mentioned in the CIC form during initial application/latest residential address in Schedule A form? If UAE, then you will be asked to submit passports to Abu Dhabi.. If Saudi then Riyadh.

Can u tell me how to send passports to Riyadh from Jeddah?
I am from Jeddah and I have to send 5 passports for visa stamping.
According to my understanding I have to Aramax the passports with return pre-paid airway bill
and bank draft of 518 riyal (103.5/each passport) and 2 pics for each.
Some thing missing?

My present address mentioned in the form was Saudi.
On CIC website its clearly mentioned all PR immigration applications from Saudi Arabia will be processed in Abu Dhabi.
I called Riydh CE now, they told me Immigration applications handled by AD and my visa will be stamped from AD.
Do you have any written document to prove it ?
It also states that the economic federal applications of Saudi will be processed in London. All other immigration applications such as TFW or TRV are handled by ADVO or Riyadh Office. Once London approves your PR, Then your Passport will be stamped by the nearest VO near you.

If to travel from Saudi to Canada, is there a need to present a pre-departure overseas certificate (PDOS) in the airport? thanks
No. You only need to show your original passport with visa and COPR.. Thats it..
Rest all the funds and items to accompany will follow on....

Bro.
According to my understanding, you will need to send the passport to CHC Riyadh via VFS Jeddah (not Aramex).
http://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/saudiarabia/
Anyway, there is no need to assume the process, instructions will be crystal clear in the passport request letter which you receive from LVO.
I am from Dammam. I sent by VFS in October. Yes, the charge is 103 SAR per passport.
As Mr.Dhaka have said,it all depends what address you have put up in your application.Based on that,VO will give you further instructions where to submit the passports.
Alternatively, you can write a CSE for the change in address and other changes you feel VO should know about it..
Good Luck
