hi everyone!
i, yesterday, have got admission offer for MEng Mechanical Engineering at University of Ottawa , i m still waiting for response from university of calgary for MSC Mechanical Engineering.... plz guide me what should i do now?.....should i accept the offer or wait for few days?....my interest is MEng. but i applied in MSC in calgary just to increase my chances of admission.
plzzz guide from the perspective of job after graduation , PR, Part-time job during studies, cost of living and studying at both these places.
bro, i have to accept or decline the admission offer by 20th april......even if i accept by the end of april, wont it b late for visa apllication if i have to join the fall session?
University of Ottawa is much better than University of Calgary. But you would need to understand where you will have better prospects for job? Accept this offer as of now and start your visa processing. Once you come to Canada, change your university. But again, University of Calgary has no good reputation in Alberta.
ohh...u need my status?! eh...that's my advise..follow or not....
Regarding my status - Alumni of University of Ottawa; nominated by Alberta government; Permanent resident of Canada; Job related to Education and Universities..
anything else Mr.? If yes, follow my blog..Link is below.
actually i wanted to know whether u have studied from ottawa and whether u r on study permit or on PR....... sorry if i said something wrong. your advice is greatly appreciated .
my admission offer letter states that i should be prepared to spend $37000 per year(tuition+lodging+food+transport etc)....can u tell me how much amount i should show in my bank statement for University of Ottawa?

You will need to have education loan that would suggest that you are all approved by bank for your lodging, tuition fees etc. Education loan is safest from immigration perspective. Fees is different per semester for different courses. If it shows $6000 then it should be it excluding UPass, Health insurances and any taxes. $6000 would only be your tuition fees and your incidental fees will be different. With all that it should be around $6500 - $6800.
