anyone knows the virutal landing timeline.i applied for pgp2023 and i got the message that i have to submit the passport but as my mom is in Canada they will do the virtual landing.
i submitted the webform on 17th mar and i confirmed with the cic that they received the webform.
now i am waiting for virtual landing.
anyone knows how long its taking to get the appointment for virtual landing?

There is no specific timeframe and it varies case to case.

I would recommend to keep follow up with them. You can also reach out your MP office to contact IRCC on your behalf.

Same here. Security screening has been 1 year and four months.
My dad had several years of conscript almost 60 years ago, which caused security screening.
Did your parents have military experience or government experience?

No, my parents had no military or government experience.
Does anyone know the phone number or email for CBSA and CSIS? Then I can contact them to find out the status of my security clearance. Appreciate.

As you said " a small portion of PGP 2022 are still left to process. " May I know how many cases left to waiting processing? Thanks. I am one of PGP cases in 2022 and waiting for final decision from IRCC , waiting time is 29months already and being stuck in security check over a year. I really feel confusion.

My mom's application also said the same thing "Background check in process" for over 26months. Finally when her passport was stamped the status was all updated "Background check completed Mar 2023". PGP application Dec2022. So the status you are seeing is not current. Its not updated. Nobody will ever know what the delay of over 20months was for.

Hi there, would you please advice how to check the file's history log as you listed . My status only has basis information, such like you no need finger print whothout any history logs. Is that mean my case become ghost file ,nobody follow my case? My PGP application without any update news since Oct, 2023. Now 28 moths already.

When I call IRCC, the automatical messge is the same with you.
You can talk to an agent by the phone call or register a GCKey account to see the status. Or you can order IRCC notes, CBSA notes and CSIS notes

CSIS did not send notes since Nov 2024. I ordered CSIS notes on Dec 15, 2024, so far I did not receive notes.
I heard lots of people have the same experience in the forum.
