yes but it's supervisa so I can stay for more 2 yrs not jut 6 months.
now I'm curious about your example, say someone was in a traditional visitor visa, overstayed for a year without leaving Canada, and did not apply for open work permit, but then somehow got married and PR in this case CIC will be unable to verify the 1 year period of illegal overstay, therefore return the application, is this the case? if so then this person needs to prove and carve out the period of overstay, recalculate the residency, provide evidence of overstay(??), and resubmit the application?
can you explain the gap between sent and delivered when it was an online application? Curious because I submitted my app online Feb 16 and no AOR yet. thanks
@vnexpress@tanjid12 Quick update - My application from Feb 20th was returned today because they're saying they can't verify my physical presence before I became a PR. I will attach all relevant documents and resubmit it. If you're also using temporary resident days and were on maintained status they might send you a similar email, so better prepare your LOE and relevant docs in advance.
Glad somebody at least looked at it. Hope you get your AORs soon. I also sent a webform to nudge them. Maybe that worked.
I guess it's time for me to track the March, 2025 thread now. Good luck to everyone here.
Called again today. They couldn't find the application online. They sent the information to office so that they can locate it. I am not sure what I should do now. It has been so long since I applied. Should I just apply again.

@tsvkj were you able to sign-in and take the test? I am experiencing the same issue. You can contact them via email, which is listed in the invitation email within the PDF file under the section 'For technical issues at the bottom, please contact.' I have already reached out to inquire if this problem can be resolved. They mentioned it will take five days for them to get back to me. If anyone else has encountered the same issue, please share your experience. Thank you!
Hello, everybody!
I had a question on the citizenship online test sign-in.
I received the email invitation on March 11 and my test start date was 2025/03/13 12 AM EST, but when I try to sign-in, it says “Based on our records, we haven’t invited you to take this test right now” and “You can’t take this test right now”, even though almost 24 hours have gone by.
I know it’s not too long, but based on historical applications I wanted to know if this meant I need to wait a little longer or if I should send an email right away because no matter how long I wait, this issue wouldn’t resolve.
Please let me know based on your experience.
P.S.: I received two emails on the March 11, both are the exact same. Tracker also shows the same dates. Also, my office is probably Surrey; the email contains SRY.
