H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

Anyone received any updates? Looks like they put hold on H&C applications for some reason and not even processing anything, I don’t remember seeing approvals or refusals after October in regards to AIP and stage 2 final decisions, don’t know what is going on and the wait is just killing me

the same here.... something is wrong about IRCC, nothing is happening these last months...Got my AIP on July 23, sent the requested documents on August 2.... after that....no update whatsoever, no address confirmation or emails 1 and 2. Nothing at all, I call them every two weeks, they say background check is processing and they don't need anything else from me and all I have to do iis be patience and wait. Frustrating situation, I was less anxious before the AIP.

My h&c is on hold pending in cda but last month they give me interim work authorization it's been 21 months since I applied all this situation is draining my energy and give me anxiety because we should have answer if first stage are approved or not in the first 12 to 16 months and if they approve 1 stage and another 5 to 6 months for 2 stage I'm at 21 months and the only thing I know is my file are on hold very frustrating at this point I feel I'm beyond bars in this country with my life on hold

Its appears to me that there is some kind of hold up on H&C applications especially for those who have already received AIP and may be for all. Things are not moving.

I don't have AIP and my file is there for 21 months I got interim work authorization last month and on the gcms notes file is on hold pending in cda

I have same timeline and at least you got something. Did you said you applied for work permit at the same time when you applied for H&C?

Yes I applied same time for H&C and work permit I send all the forms together and 1 month ago I got the interim work authorization and I noticed file is on hold pending in cda I applied June 1 2023 they start processing February 17 2024

I saw in another group someone received their AIP on 19 feb. don’t know more details on them only that it was for best interest of child
