I saw few posts where OP's are saying that they received a letter which states they are eligible as sponsor. Is this the same letter we get for PCC request along with application number ? Or should I expect another email ?. Currently I have received the application number and pcc request
.
I submitted my parents' application on July 27, and was asked to submit additional documents on December 24, which I did promptly. However, despite multiple attempts to contact them through the "Contact Us" form, I only received generic responses stating that my application is still under review. Today, I received another message through the webform indicating they sent correspondence to my old address. I’m really worried, as I haven’t received any emails and have since moved.
Do they reject applications by sending correspondence via mail? How can I request that they send updates to my email, as I have asked previously but haven’t received any response?
Did you not forward your mail? You can’t request only email contact. IRCC and PGP processing are very slow. Please don’t send multiple copies of the same webform it just bogs down the system and doesn’t get you a more rapid reply. Ask for any correspondence to be sent again (would attempt calling to see if they can initiate that) and update your address asap.
App Sub: July 5, 2024

Sponsorship eligibility letter: Feb 21
Greetings!!!
Need help for the issue with timeline as below.
July 2024- Recieved invitation for Parents PR
Aug 2024- App submitted
Dec 2024- Recieved request for additional documents including CV for my father, which I had uploaded while submitting application in Jul 2024
Jan 2025- Emailed all documents including CV of my father as requested
Feb 2025- App rejected, citing incomplete CV of my father. All basic info like name, address DOB, employment history were provided in his CV.
What options do I have beside submitting web form on IRCC website which I have already done?
This really concerns me, rejecting due to incomplete CV? Do you think this was a fault on your end to not include the details? Was there any gaps or missing information in the CV?
My parents are in their 70s, have been retired for more than 10 years, I had to create new CVs and tried to capture all the time frames for experience and education etc but in a summary format. But now thinking maybe I should have added more details never thought a CV could be this critical.

Possible the CV provided by pk894 has gaps in the time.
I don't think they want a lot of details but they do require CVs that cover all the activites without breaks. If there is a period that the person is unemployed or traveling, it can be stated in the CV as well.
Possibility that CV in question has missing period that the PA has important activities. (studying aboard, working in gov, traveling to countries ...etc.)
Or even possible that IRCC some how didn't receive the CV in the application profile. (suggest to call/contact/webform IRCC to make sure that updated CV was actually added to the application)

That makes sense, and I agree that they shouldn't expect the full details about the job description when most of the applicants are senior individuals and/or retired. I'm just thinking if there is a gap in thd CV, it's very likely that the info is provided in the IMM5669 schedule A, since it has the background details since the age of 18.
It could be the visa officer in this case went for the easy path, saw the gap in the CV and rejected the whole application or perhaps we are missing a bigger picture and something important was missing in this application, and couldn't be retrieved in any of the other forms.
its been more then two months since my parents did biometrics. online its showing the recent enrollment date however, under details it is saying " we did not receive your biometrics"
I just received a request for a military records (mandatory service) and employment records. Anyone in the same boat? now I'm worried that the resume is a bit off in dates
