I don't think so, as long as the initial condition remains, that is, one of the spouses remains a student.
 
Finally, I got my study extension approval after 113 days.

Timeline: Solo Applicant
Submission: October 4, 2024
Approval: January 27, 2025

The day after I submitted my application. I also received my physical study permit in mail today!

Here's my full timeline:

Submission: November 26, 2024
Eligibility review started: November 27, 2024
Correspondence letter: January 24, 2025
Approval: January 28, 2025
In Canada approval letter: January 29, 2025
Got physical study permit in mail: January 30, 2025

Does that mean I will get a decision in a week or two?
