That office will make a final decision on your APR and communicate to you its decision.


Does the transfer of a client's file to the Etobicoke #IRCC office result in a significant processing delay?

Yes it will be a long wait. Ours was transferred in jan this year but nothing after that we are stuck at eligibility and security check

We got a call from an officer last week. He inquired about our marriage, our length of time together, how you two met, and other things. In basic terms, he utilized several crossed-verification questions to determine whether or not the relationship is genuine.
"That's all I have for you today; I can't tell you anything about the next step, but I might get back to you soon if necessary, he said" at the end.

Our file was initially with Mississauga, but after receiving a PFL we responded, and the case was transferred to Etobicoke. Now, a month later, we’ve received a document stating that eligibility has passed.
What should we make of this update? Any insights or feedback would be greatly appreciated!
