Is anyone can help me with my oci application. I did surrender indian voter id card online but I don’t have ration card on my name for that how can i go with my oci application I pretty much competed my oci application just the new requirement for surrending voter id and ration card part left.
I made a typo in an OCI form and had to return it. The BLS asked me to fill it out again. While refiling the OCI form, in Part B, there is a question: 'Have you/any member of your family applied for Overseas Citizen of India registration earlier?'
If I select 'Yes,' it asks for the OCI reference number and provides a dropdown with options: 'Granted' or 'Not Granted.'
I have a reference number associated with the previously filled OCI application, which, of course, wasn’t sent to the consulate. I’m not sure what the correct answer is. It feels odd to say it wasn’t granted because it was never submitted to the consulate.

I had the same problem, after downloading my voter Id online, I could see my last name was incorrect. So I updated using Form 6 and after approval, I did my Form 7.
P.S The login profile information and Voter Id information should match exactly to add your EPIC to your profile.

Yes, I had run into this problem before and I was able to resolve it. Do you have your voter's id? or check your name in the online voter's list using EPIC number. Create a new account. When you sign up for the account, it will ask you for a first name and last name- enter those EXACTLY like how it appears in the voter's list/voter's id. For me they had added my father's name as middle name and also misspelt it. Maybe yours is something similar. So even if it's the wrong spelling, you enter the exact same wrong spelling. Then when you edit your profile, it will let you link it to your EPIC number.
