My tracker has a ghost update today.
It says *(star)8 new update(s)

But all the "star" updates from before, nothing changes.....

They would have updated your oath, based on your reschedule request so you see a ghost update.

I would say, everything related to application (things like language proof, passport, i94 travel history if pertinent) , but focus what the interview is for, if you know. If prohibitions is pending, then have all IDs like passport, license on top shelf of file etc. If physical presence, then old bills, rental agreement. I see that your background is pending , soo maybe they just want to verify your identity.

Yesterday me and my spouse got Ghost update, I was expecting some changes in my file status today but nothing happened to the status, is it normal activity? @maverick @hssrp

It's totally normal. Sometimes you will see an update 2 days from ghost update, so check tomorrow. Some officer worked on your file and will hopefully be done with some of the next stages . Ghost update is better than no update.

A friend of mine said he received the Oath ceremony invitation email, but the LPP status has not been updated in the tracker yet. The Oath email is for an online event.

Should he wait for the tracker update?

or is the oath letter a final confirmation

People have received OATH email before the tracker updated and LPP still showed in progress. It confirms all process is complete. Dont think they have to wait on tracker. Email confirms it. Another profile here had the same happen, LPP was in progress but they got oath letter. Dont remember if their tracker was updated after that.

I got my test invite on Aug 23. I completed my test on Sept 16 with a score of 18/20

No, my wife completed the test , 2 days after me.

My wife still don't have GU update as I have yesterday , is it because she had test 2 days after me, I thought file goes as one group ?

Yes pretty normal @trajectory@3 . Tracker has 2 business days delay and emails are real time so sometimes the emails come before the tracker update (which will eventually update within 2 days). Email is an official confirmation.

Even if submitted together as family applications, only the oath is scheduled together and all previous steps progresses on its own merit for each applicant in the group.
