This for sure is your Purolator tracking # they must have created the shipping Label to hand over to Purolator today afternoon or evening. Mine is Missisauga BLS which one is yours?

I have checked the number in purolator app and yes it says shipping label created.

OCI application status: Under Process.

Question: Wife's visible identification is incorrect on OCI. I accidently wrote Birthmark on Right Hand Wrist instead of Left Hand wrist. Should i get the detail corrected? i called BLS and they said no need to update but i am not sure if this will cause issue at the time of travel. Also my home address in going to change in 3 months. Again BLS agent said no need to update address but i wanted to knwo what does the group think ?

Kind of yes, but if MEA needs some documentation they ask to upload those via OCI portal

Nope. You are in the clear when you have your date of acknowledgement from the OCI portal - https://ociservices.gov.in/

The BLS status means nothing. They had my signature missing in the form and the status was processing at consulate. Once you have the acknowledgement date you can be sure that your forms and docs are all clear and accepted.

Hi all! I’m just starting my OCI process. I have two questions

1) do we actually need to submit a letter from employer? It will be a huge pain to get it for me. Is a self declaration letter good enough?

2) do we need to include an original Canadian passport or just a photocopy will do?

Processing at Consulate General" on BLS website - comes first if your application has no errors and all components are in place then the OCI application is acknowledged on the OCI portal of MEA

1) I doubt it works. In my case letter just had my designation and the start date, so they asked me to give a self declaration letter explaining what I do in my job.
2) Photocopy is enough

Hmm not sure how efficient the Vancouver BLS is - typically takes them a day or two to hand the package to Purolator
