I submitted visitor visa for my MIL and FIL on June 16th 2024, and biometric was completed on June 20th 2024 in VFS.
After that there's no progress on the application it's been a month.
Any one got passport submission request who applied before or after June 16th 2024.
Please share your inputs.

Applied for TRV for my wife on June 10th after receiving AOR for spousal PR sponsorship. Biometrics completed June 14th and updated in portal. Portal shows eligibility and background check still in progress. It's beyond the 30 day processing for spouse TRV but she's coming from Kenya so maybe that's why they take a long time. We did our best to show home ties to Kenya but there are not many. We are really hoping she will be approved as the PR sponsorship for Quebec is currently 32 months!

Has anyone been approved for spouse visit visa from Africa?

Applied first on February 29th through GCKEY Portal got no reply whatsoever to this day.

Withdrawal request submitted on April 23rd.

2nd Spousal TRV Application submitted through IRCC Portal:

AR: June 9th,2024
BIL: June 25th
Biometric was already valid and updated on June 10th

To this day still processing and no updates.
