I dont know if I should be sad.

At least you have LPP completed. I don't have anything completed but the test.

Don't want to get too excited but everyone on this thread who got a GU applied between December 5th - 8th, please correct me if I'm wrong.

That's as big an indication of it likely being meaningful as any. Maybe one of them could call in today to see what it was.


At least I've convinced myself it is.

December 7 here and I got it but I wouldn't put any trust in the call centre. They typically know as much as we do.

I have checked the other threads ie January and February and no mass ghost update today.

So perhaps it could be a sign of minimal progress for December applicants?

I cannot wait to not deal with CIC again. That's why it took me 7 years to apply for citizenship as I do not miss dealing with them.

Could be! We'll be able to tell probably next week whenever the change is reflected in the platform

Folks,

The trend shows that early December applicants to an extent have a progress traction.
we all know the fact that each application is different.
if there is anything we can derive from the trend , it shows that , we might see traction/anticipated progress in most of our applications by this time next month.

The one thing we all learnt or procured experienced is , Patience and how to face uncertainty for long time.
use this experience in your life somewhere else. thats my 2 cents. wait! how many cents i got and i gave..LOL

I just logged in and saw there is an update. My profile is updated on March 28th but when I scroll down and see I see that there is an update near my citizenship test which was previously updated on Feb 8th

Okay, maybe it was actually a glitch

Too many people with varying timelines have reported it. Interestingly only on this thread so maybe a 'good glitch'. Let's wait for the next few days to see what's changing in those applications.
