Hello everyone, I've received (and replied) P1 email on Jan 26 from Montreal office and been waiting for the next steps. Does anybody know why the processing is fast in some office and slow in others? Also, what exactly happens after we reply to the P1 email? Does IRCC has to do a lot before sending P2 and eCOPR?
Today, I discovered a big surprise while calling IRCC.
Despite the fact that I received the P1 email from Virtual Landing OSC Ottawa, my secondary VO is Montreal, and I could be in their eCoPR virtual landing queue. WTF
Hi, did you hear back from Montreal? I am having issue that I got the RFV from case processing center - Ottawa asking me (inland) and spouse(Outland) to mail passport to stamp the visa. So I called to confirm if I can do virtual landing, then the Officer told me I should wait for VO Montreal to issue me the eCoPR.
Right now, I am very confused if I need send both passports or only my spouse’s passports to Ottawa.
Hello everyone, I had an update today:
- Portal 1: August 16 (submitted info same day)
- Portal 2: Sept 4 (submitted photo and address on the same day, except for 1 dependent who travelled back to the original country)
- READY FOR VISA email for dependent: Nov 3 (request from Ottawa)
- eCoPR: waiting
- VO Montreal
The interesting thing is that an outland dependent letter can be issued before the inland principal applicant's e-CoPR. Is this a normal sequence?
Hello, thanks for all your sharing. I am having same issue now that Ottawa -case processing center issued me a RFV requiring passport to stamp the visa. In my case, I am the inland principal applicant while my spouse is Outland dependent. But the RFV letter addressed to me and had no name or info of my spouse, I wonder if you could help to let me know if this is normal? I’m also confused if I need to send both passports or just my spouse passports to them. Much appreciated if you could share, thank you.
