I'm just clueless as you are, my friend. What I observed from previous months applicants, normally it's the case of people getting Fingerprints request, hence the delay of BG clearance. But I never got the request so I'm just sitting here wondering...
Mississauga office here. Test completed Nov 18, BG hasn't even done. If you have your BG cleared before test, maybe you have better chance that it would go faster.
My office is Montreal too. I passed my test on November 15th but neither BG completed nor finger print is requested. Any body have any ideas how long it may take to get updated?

I have no idea. What is frustrating is that we are just a minority of applicants that are living this situation. We don't even know what is the problem. At least , the candidats that are asked to give the finger prints are sure that their BG will be completed few days after their finger prints are received. But in our case, we don't know the reason behind this delay.
I know I have to be patient .. but seeing the other offices process faster make my patience fade away.. my lpp was done on 27th updated on 29th.. hopefully we get it this week
Hi,
My timeline is very different from the trend of Sep 2023 applicants.
Paper application, Mississauga , Family of 3 (2 adults + 1 child)
Sep 22 delivered - long wait time to AOR Nov 20
Tracker update created Nov 22 ( it was mentioned that date of the application received / updated in the system as Oct 6)
Official e-mail stating that tracker following details on Dec 1
Invitation to the citizenship test on Dec 8 (time period Dec 11 to Jan 9)
by that time I have noticed BG completed for 1 adult + child
Completed the online test on Dec 11 (just few hours ago - both 20/20)
So altogether LPP / citizenship test in progress + 1 adult BG in progress
I think it is Mississauga office as mentioned in the invitation email - MIS ( I am not sure of how to find that)
TQ
