My Ack date of Nov 15 is showing as PROCESSED on OCI portal, processed as of Dec 7. My flight is on Dec 13.
How do i pick up the OCI from BLS before EOD Tuesday Dec 12? Can someone suggest?

Does it show date on "Document received At" ?
That should get populated and then you can go and talk to BLS to hold your OCI instead of sending it via courier.

So you are saying, once it it populates a date on DOC received at, then i reach out to BLS to hold it for pickup?

Still there is no guarantee they will hold it for you. You can just pray that they will. If BLS is nearby for you, go and talk to them during the pickup window 3 pm - 4.30 pm

Should i now wait for BLS status update to change to 'COUNTER DELIVERY TO BLS' or should i just email BLS at their email id and ask them to hold it for pickup?

I suggest you can email BLS Brampton office to ask them when can you collect it. Do mention you have flight booked for Dec 13

Ideally you should received them in 2 weeks.
In some cases they send originals along with the OCI [ which may be 50 days]

I applied on 31 October (postal)
From 15 November, status shows processing at consulate general and do not receive acknowledgement yet.
But I also paid prolate fees for original drop off. In this case, it will come before oci or not?

In case of passport picture for females, should the hair be tied back in picture or it can be open? any such requirement

Hello Everyone,

Quick question on OCI acknowledgement.
Submission centre: BLS Brampton
Delivered: Purolator
BLS website got updated to "Processing at Consulate General" on Nov 10th 2023.
I was expecting to receive the acknowledgement email by end of Nov.
Haven't received any email and when I try to look it up on the OCI tracking window, it shows "No record found". Using Canadian passport number and application file number
Have the timelines extended in recent days for issuing ack?

Ears are visible with open hair. Just curious, if anyone experienced any setbacks from BLS with open hair in the picture.

hi GUYS, I have recently summitted OCI in Calgary and they charged $365, isn't it $345.

Not a big difference but still wants to check,
