In my experience don’t mind background check
Ones all other requirements completed background will be completed same time
Confusion is until other pending is completed
Background will say pending

Hi, my lawyer submitted Reconsideration on 17th September 2023, through wave form, i didn’t receive any response than I call office, they told me that they didn’t receive any reconsideration yet, my lawyer said he submitted, Wave form doesn’t have any proof, if any body have idea please help me out,

Web forms delayed
Every week call cic call center ask for updated
Every time you call cic it will be noted and your officer will see that noted every time u called

Hi guys..My family and I got our ECOPR/PR Card in August. Arrived Canada and applied for Refugee since 2017.. and refused in 2020. I applied for H&C which was finally approved in 2023.
I applied for CTB and “Retriactive” payment. The CTB was approved and 1st payment was received in November 2023.
Got a mail few days ago, saying the “Retroactive” was denied.
We have been filing our tax till date, work permits till date, 2 study permits etc.
Reason of denial :- You are not a citizen for the retroactive period you requested for.
Pls is this right? As I heard a lot of people gets paid. Thanks.

Yes that’s correct you only got back payment from the date you become permanent resident

You are too early still your updated seems like on time and you are still in the process time my guess feb 2024 u will get final result
