Hi Everyone,

Date of acknowledgement on my OCI application was October 13th. It shows it's processed as of today, November 06th, when I check OCI tracking, and our flight to India is on November 30th. From your experiences, do you feel I should have my OCI in time?

With Nov 30 travel date, you have enough time, waiting for courier is better than wrangling with BLS in this case.
Watch out BLS site for delivery updates and expect to receive it Nov 9th earliest. Get worried only if there is no movement this week.

Do we need to upload Surrender Certificate and Citizenship certificate as well or we just need to send hard copies to BLS - there is no option to upload these on OCI portal.

BLS website: Under process - 25 Sept 2023
BLS website: Processing at Consulate General - 26 Sept 2023
OCI website: Acknowledgement and under process - 11 Oct 2023
OCI website: Processed : 1 Nov 2023
OCI website: Dispatched from MEA : 1 Nov 2023
OCI website: Document received at Toronto : 1 Nov 2023
BLS website: Counter Delivery to BLS Centre after OCI stamping : 2 Nov 2023
BLS website: Passport ready For Dispatch after OCI stamping (with tracking number) : 3 Nov 2023
Purolator delivered : 6 Nov 2023.

Is there a Way to contact BLS Edmonton over the Phone ?
I tried calling them but i am never able to speak to them. They just keep jumping from one option to another and finally the call gets disconnected.

nope not yet, BLS tracker not updated yet.. Anticipate to receive it by end of this week or early next week via purolator
