Contacted Toronto - their response was it takes 8 weeks to process OCI.

Send them mail everyday n once received standard reply it will tKr 8 weeks

My original travel date was 27th Oct n now I moved to 10th Nov.. I sent thm tickets copy too bt no as if thy just dont care

Agree, but stopping visa services will not punish actual culprits. They are probably already banned from entering in India & they will also not prefer to go to India.

I am filling entry visa form and have few doubts. Can someone please help out to clarify-
• Citizenship/ National ID number- can I put NA here or do I need to put the certificate number from citizenship certificate?
• Previous Visa/ current valid visa details-Do I need to enter previous tourist visa that has already expired few yrs back? Also the place of issue is not mentioned in the tourist visa stamp.

Many people have used other appointment for OCI.

The draft in favour of would depend on the location where you submitting. You don't have to specify the address only name is enough

Are you doing postal application? If yes, only self-attested docs. No need to send original docs.
In-person - Take you original docs with you, they will cross-verify and give it back. But self-attested docs are needed for submission.

Citizenship no : you need to put from citizen certificate
National ID: NA
Previous Visa: leave blank

No. There is no OCI stamp on Canadian passport. You get a separate OCI booklet, somewhat similar looking like an Indian passport.

I think they changed the process. Now it says all originals needed. Earlier it used to say originals or self attested .

oci is not stamped. Its a separate booklet kind of 5 page like Indian passport.
