Hi everyone - I had query about originals that were sent through purolator. My application date is 4th October in BLS website and I still haven’t got any update from purolator on when the originals would be sent back? Anyone can please shed some light on the process for the same? Thank you

No nothing.. Desperately waiting for same.. My flight is booked for Oct 27th, I need some date to rebook and as of now I have no idea when to rebook

Can't say until your application passes BLS and is with the consulate. Wait for BLS status to update to "Processing with consulate" and shows a n "application date". From then about 7 weeks as explained by @Terminator, but you could shave off a few days by picking up in person etc., if all else goes well. As others have said, Dec 15 is tight, but not impossible. Though, personally, I wouldn't let my wedding plans hinge on this. If possible, postpone the wedding by a month or hope for the best.

You DO NOT NEED to send originals for OCI application.

Only original needed is sent for passport cancellation, and that too is your Original INDIAN Passport

Based on EAM's statement yesterday ("very very soon") I was hoping e-visa to resume today, just in time for you! But it seems they have different ideas of "very very soon".

Not sure if this has been mentioned here before - ever since the day the status of my OCI changed from 'No such file found' to 'Under Process' on the OCI website, the status on the BLS tracker is showing as 'In Transit from Consulate General to BLS Centre'.

Is this normal/expected?

Do we need to contact CGI to see if any issue with the application , its close to a month since i submitted my application but still no status update on OCI website.

I have to be in India by 10th to do arrangements and attend my sisters wedding.. my mom is all by herself there and she is panicking right now I am so heartbroken.. But still havent lost hope for Evisas. I pray they act on there statement and open is soon
