Hey, did anyone submit their OCI as walk-in and had to retake their photo at the location. I had to do so at the Brampton location this morning and it looks like they haven't updated my online form with the new photo they clicked at the center. Has this happened to anyone else?

So you did manage to get in with the visa appt., it seems.
No experience taking photo at BLS or letting them update the application. But should be fine as they do this in many cases. They may be updating it in their back office before passing on to the Consulate.
I think once the acknowledgement date is received, most of the processing is done by MEA. Only after they send the OCI back to Vancouver consulate, the consulate gets involved in the process again. @abbas.pasha , @forw.jane , @eas2lv - can you please correct if this understanding is wrong?
Not sure. I am worried too. Only hope if Canadian govt condemn violence threat and provide security. Hope is thin as it seems here threatening people is considered freedom of speech.
