In the past it would come in 24 - 48 hrs. There was nothing to track in it. Now it's banned so again nothing to track.

Yes it's unfortunate. We applied for eVisa on September 20 (Sept 21 in India). We also had our relatives call the eVisa helpdesk (India number) to check about any update and they said it would be processed as it was already in the system. Did not receive any timeline on that.

I have a query regarding a question in OCI application for my wife "Have you/any member of your family applied for Overseas Citizen of India registration earlier? *"

I applied for my own OCI last week and it is in process. What should I mention in my wife's OCI application for above question? It asks to mention if oci is granted or not granted. But for me it is still in process.

My youngest daughter had held her OCI for 2 years before we applied, hence I marked yes to this question.

However, I would suggest that you mark no, since you have not received your OCI, and there are only two options, neither of which are applicable to you.

Let's hope and wish for the best. As per the CGI, my application would take 40 days from my acknowledgement time to reach back to BLS.

Yea it will take approximately 2 week from the processing date for ottawa to home delivery if you opted for one. I applied for mine last year .. now im waiting for my baby’s with ack date 22 aug

It's the thing that you see on https://ociservices.gov.in/statusEnqury, which means its with HCI or CGI. No email.

I did not get any email. Acknowledgement date is there when you do OCI Status Enquiry

As per my knowledge, OTTAWA HCI is talking close to 8 weeks after Date of Acknowledgement.

So, Probably starting of OCT, hopefully we will be seeing an update.
