Don’t worry about it. You should see it in a day or two. My partner’s application submitted at BLS Toronto on Sept 8 shows an acknowledgment date of Sept 20.
My application timeline (also submitted at BLS Toronto) had the following timeline -
Submitted in-person - 21 July
Date of acknowledgment - 31 July
Status updated to “Processed/Document printing” - 22 Aug
Received at home - 27 Aug
Hey guys, as I understand, OCI applications sent by Purolator (post) do not need original documents enclosed. But does this apply to the Surrender Certificate, too? And for Indian Passport, would I need to make photocopies of all pages with stamps, or is it just the first and last page? Thanks!

If you are sending OCI application by post do not include any original documents.
Only include self attested (just sign) copies of the documents...
Bio pages (front and back) of the Indian Passport
Bio page (first) of the Canadian passport
please review the checklist for the rest of the documents.
I am gathering docs for my kids OCI (Canadian Born).
Question: For their passport copy - Do I include all pages with stamps or only the photo page is required?
I have a query regarding a question in OCI application for my wife "Have you/any member of your family applied for Overseas Citizen of India registration earlier? *"
I applied for my own OCI last week and it is in process. What should I mention in my wife's OCI application for above question? It asks to mention if oci is granted or not granted. But for me it is still in process.
