Oh that's something new for me. I was under impression that all the applications process in New Delhi, once the applicant receives the acknowledgement.

There is some part of processing which happens in canada and seems like its at this step ottawa is lagging

Same with my OCI application, haven't received any acknowledgement yet.

Submitted walk-in on the 13th of sept in Toronto.

I was able to successfully collect my OCI from BLS Calgary on 9/21. No issues at all. That's my final update

10 Aug: Application Delivered at Brampton
18 Aug: BLS status application received - This is the application date on the BLS website
21 Aug: Two statuses: Both are under processing at CGI
30 Aug: Acknowledgement date on the OCI website

20 Sep - Documents Printing Status PROCESSED, Dispatched From MEA (OCI), NEW DELHI, Document received at Toronto.
21 Sep - Counter delivery to BLS
22 Sep - Dispatched
25 Sep - OCI delivered.

(Total of 47 days)

BLS Portal Status:
14 Aug: Postal application sent to Brampton
15 Aug: Received at BLS
17 Aug: BLS status application received
22 Aug: Two statuses: Both under process
21 Sep: Two statuses: Dispatched via Courier (delivered Original docs)

OCI Enquiry Website:
1 Sep: Date of Acknowledgement


Documents Printing Status PROCESSED On 22-SEP-2023
Dispatched From MEA (OCI ) NEW DELHI On 25-SEP-2023
Document received At TORONTO On 25-SEP-2023

But the news was that visa processing at halt
So oci is still being processed?
My status show’s processing but i still want to be sure if it’s not at halt

Visa services have been stopped.
Surrender/OCI are still being processed.
