Hi, Friends my PR application for protected person is in process. My family living overseas have processes their Biometrics and Police certificate already.I am living in Canada for about 2 years.
My question is do I also have to provide my Police Certificate for my time spent in Canada as main applicant.
Infact, I got an e mail about this but I am confused about this.
Please give your expert opinions.

I applied paper based PR in January 2023 with family who are overseas in Pilot Program.
AOR received in June 2023.Linked my application in July 2023. Family members got their Biometric and PCC done in Aug 2023.
Since then no update...I haven't spent anytime more than 6 months in any other country except my home country.
Do I have to provide them Police Certificate for my stay within Canada?
If someone has provided , please share.

For your time inside Canada they can do background check themselves, so you don't need to do anything unless they ask you to do something. For time spent outside Canada I'm not sure if they ask now or they may ask about it during applying for citizenship.

you don't have to wait 22 weeks before you get approved. the time online it average time for them. it can be 22 weeks or less or more. it depends on individual circumstances

Did u apply alone or with family members?

you don't have to wait 22 weeks before you get approved. the time online it average time for them. it can be 22 weeks or less or more. it depends on individual circumstances

Yeah I know, most people in the past two years got it around 16 to 26 months.

I have not received my AOR but I link my application to the gckey and it says my medical passed August 29 and everything else is the same as yours. Hope I get AOR soon. I applied March 10th 2023

Hi Friends, If a protected person is in Pilot Program for his PR application. Will his family members overseas get PR same time with him or they would have to wait after his PR.

Bro how you are selected in pilot program is there any criteria for it and do you received any email regarding it ??

Did you apply by paper? The date when says medicals passed is the same as the AOR. And AOR just means they started processing your application so don't worry if you didn't get anything about AOR. Consider your AOR on Aug 29.
