I applied online for LMIA exempt closed temporary work permit (from outside Canada - India) on May 28, 2023 and didn't get Biometrics Collection Letter yet (as of June 1). Can someone please share their timeline for recent Work permit (from outside Canada) application?

If you qualified for GSS it is faster. The processing time in India is 8 weeks so expect it soon. If your joining date is soon then try reaching out to IRCC via webforms

But all applicants status updated on tracker 19th may. Could it be that the main applicant has also begun eligibility check? But it’s not showing on tracker and gckey yet. No update since then
No non-GSS usually takes much longer the. 8 weeks. Often closer to 6 months. Posted processing times are often estimates and are often incorrect. Would suggest looking at processing time of multiple applicants from the same region to get an approximate idea of current normal WP applications. There is a variation in processing times depending on whether it is ICT, GSS, LMIA exempt, etc.

Oh my dear I applied WP based on PNP online (New Delhi) office on March 5 2023 and still waiting they just updated my Biometric and still they didn’t even open my file don’t know what’s going on

Hi. I applied on 10 March as well. TEER 2 job here. Applied from Singapore. I'm only waiting for eligibility (8 weeks now) and background check (13 weeks now), both are still in progress.
I applied my LMIA based work permit from india on 30th April 2023
Biometric was previously done in 2021 (for student visa)
Got medical request on 31st May 2023
What next?
I consulted from Rudraksha Group overseas solutions phase 1, Mohali, Punjab, India for Canada work permit.
According to them they will arrange Offer Letter and LMIA with in 4 months and demanding money after signing offer letter.
Can anyone confirm that is it a genuine consultant?

Got visa mail
I applied my LMIA Based work permit on 30th Apr 2023 (from India).
Biomatric was previously done in 2021.
Got medical request on 31st of May 2023.
Medical done on the very next day 1st June 2023
Got visa mail today 10th of June 2023 (40days in total)
Unless you are a Ukrainian non-refugee. That seems to take only a few weeks... certainly no more than 4.
I know this for a certain fact as that is how it worked for my Ukrainian friends even though they haven't lived in Ukraine for 10+ years! Good for them and I hope they find happiness by taking total advantage of such an easy application process. For them
..the icing on the cake...they get the same benefits package given to genuine Ukrainian refugees. Unbelievable.
