Perhaps complaining works... Just got the approval today! It says give it up to 6 weeks to be sent but I have been seeing people receive it after ~1 week.
Have you done anything in particular from your side before getting the approval?

I called IRCC a few times but each time they couldn't do much. They can only send a message to the processing office to expedite the process once it's been longer than the processing time on the IRCC website (currently 36 days). I called a few times after the initial call but all they could do is check on the status of the application - they can only send the processing office a message that the approval is delayed once.

Hi,
I submitted my Portal 2 details on May 15, 2023 but have not received my eCOPR yet. Can anyone tell me if this process can speed up?
Should i call IRCC or reply on portal email again asking for it ? Suggestions anyone?
Your previous visas will be voided once you receive the ecoPR. You will only be able to return with your PR card after ecoPR is issued.
If you don't want to make any changes to your planned vacation you would want not to have the ecoPR to be issued until you return. There are options for you to explore: 1. respond to this email after you are back 2. Respond now and mention you are out and will return on X date.
I heard that option 2 could cause some delays, so as far as I remember option 1 is a better choice, especially if it's just a 2-week timeframe as in your case. As far as I'm concerned they will not issue the ecoPR until you respond to the Portal email and a 2-week delay to respond is not a problem.
Hello,
I am in same situation, and cannot delay / postpone my travel. In my case, our travel is planned after 3 and half week and is for 3 weeks. So in total it will be little more than a month when we will be back. (We are a family).
In this case what do you suggest. Option 1 or 2.
Is there any problem is option 1? Can option 1 delay overall process or cause any negative effect ?
We are very stressed out. Please need guidance from learned or experienced people.

Hello, need some suggestion?
how much time Etobicoke CPC office take to issue eCOPR?
i received email to upload my photo and address on May 19 and same day completed. Till now no response from the IRCC office.
What is the timeline to receive this document?
I am in the same boat but from Calgary. In review with IRCC from May 20th.
I've seen people receive on the same day/in a week/about 10/15days after submitting photos. Difficult to know when will get but to wait.
