did you submit certified notarized translated certificate or just certified translator certificate without notary?

Hi,

Zero Issues i faced, they took all applications, and we got our OCI in September First week Around.

I just gave the Copy of the Canadian (Quebec issued French) Birth ceritifcate , no questions asked. it has been 8 motnhs since i got my OCI, ia m not sure if there is any change in the process.

2. For Whom the DD's must be addressed to?

I tried calling BLS and the support center person did not have clear idea about Vancouver jurisdiction.

It seems for Vancouver if you are submitting in person you can pay by cash or Debit card.
No DD/Money order required.

Finally, got the OCI. Thanks @abbas.pasha. It just has 6 pages, sounds like frequent travellers have to keep renewing it after all pages are used?

For some reason, BLS Site was stuck in "Original documents Dispatched via courier" and was never updated for OCI delivery. Fortunately was working from home to receive.

Apr 1st - BLS Brampton Walk-in
Apr 1st - BLS - On the way to Consulate
Apr 3rd - BLS - Processing at Consulate General
Apr 7th - Date of Ack, UNDER-PROCESS
Apr 21st - Received surrender certificate
May 2nd - Document Printing Status - Processed
May 5th - Dispatched From MEA (OCI ) - NEW DELHI
May 5th - Document received At - TORONTO
May 11th - Delivered at Home

Yeah in person in Vancouver allows the entire payment though cash or debit

Nope. The OCI booklet never gets stamped, only your passport does.

I wrote to Indian HC in Ottawa and CGI Toronto about the unavailability of slots for Passport and OCI services at BLS on 11 May and today the appointment slots magically opened all the way till June end. Woah!
