I lost my pr card in on transit on my way to Nigeria.. I applied for PRTD since February and I have not heard back from IRCC, I want to know if there is any email I can write IRCC or please is there anything I can do?

Resident OBLIGATION? Yes, I have been in Canada since Dec 2018, I traveled out of Canada for 4months from April to August’s last year and again I traveled again December 23 2022 and I lost my PR card… I’m here for almost 5months now… please advise

Have you been in Canada for 9 months or abroad for 9 months? When did your old PR card expire and have you reported it missing?

I have been in abroad for 9months, my old PR card will expire next year… I lost my PR card in December and I have applied for PRTD since FEBRUARY to go back to Canada.

Did you report your PR card missing in December?

I only declare it missing at the airport, I did not report anywhere before I applied for a new one in December

You are required to report your PR card missing. Also a good idea to get a police report about your missing PR care but it’s probably too late to do that.

If someone failed to receive card from ircc, how to ask a new one? The same process as lost card?

Is that affecting my application or is is it going to affect my application ?.. because I have a police report.
