No need to worry. My paper application reached on Feb 9. Still waiting for AOR. One member from this thread whose application reached on Feb 03, received AOR yesterday. So maybe we will get the update in the next couple of weeks.

Thank you.. I’m just scared they lost my application package.. I am running out of time, I will lose my job if I don’t get my PR card this April
I’m a tad worried as my passport expires early next month, would they void my application if it’s due to expire soon? Or would they consider it in-date based on the time in which it was submitted?

I think they want at least 6mons validity for your passport. Don’t quote me

my papers were received on feb 3rd. I havent gotten any AOR yet
I have been pr for less than 5 years, but I haven't travelled outside the country even once. Do I still have to submit residency obligations as stated here?
If you have been a permanent resident for less than five (5) years
- you must show that you will be able to meet the minimum of 730 days of physical presence in Canada within five (5) years of the date you became a permanent resident.
Supporting documents showing that you meet the residency obligation
- You must provide copies of 2 pieces of evidence that can show residency in Canada in the five (5) years immediately before the application, such as:
- employment records or pay stubs;
- bank statements;
- Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) Notice of Assessment for the five (5) years immediately before the application
- evidence that you received benefits from Canadian government programs;
- rental agreements;
- club memberships;
- or any other documents that prove you met your residency obligation.

Are you able to link on gckey?
Are you able to link on gckey?
nope. I can't. ill give it a week more.
For those who got an incomplete application message.. were you able to link on gckey even though it was returned? Basically what I am trying to figure out is if once linked on gckey that means your file has passed an initial review and deemed complete.

I had that incomplete application in early March (I had applied online for PR renewal on Feb 5th). I completed the application and resubmitted it. I just tried linking the application to gckey and I am still not able to do it. Not sure what's going on. Last week someone commented here that they are looking at applications from Jan 27 to Jan 30th. Hoping by end of next week they will be looking at early Feb applicants. As of today it's been like 63 64 days since my application was submitted.

Hmm I was able to link last week and submitted feb 18th. I don’t know 110% but I think you pretty much go back to day 1 when resubmitting so your submission date is now March X :’( (don’t quote me)
I submitted my husband's PR renewal Application online on Feb 22, 2023 when I checked it in the morning that they have returned the application with reason that Primary identification is not provided, however I clearly remember submitting his passport. Any views what should I do next?
Hi guys! Can I get some quick advice, please? I hope this is the right spot because it doesn't seem big enough for its own thread.
I made a mistake and didn't get tracking when I sent in my PR card renewal app. I guess I figured I would get AOR soon anyway, not realizing it takes a while. I sent it March 12.
Today I tried to link my app, but it keeps telling me it can't find anything. I think this is a common issue, though, and doesn't necessarily mean they didn't receive it.
My PR card expires in May. Is there any way to find out whether everything is all good? I just worry the app won't be able to link online and I won't know what's going on before May comes.
Hi,
Anyone waiting for PR Card renewal applied on OCT 24th 2022
Applied on November 1, 2022. Still waiting.
