I applied for inland application and got the link to upload photo and address anddeclare that I am in canada but my implied statusexpired yesterday asI didn't apply for a open work permi. What should I do? Should I apply for a visitor record or just wait for ecopr to come?

Hello, I recently came to Canada and my 180-day stay will be completed next week. During my stay, I got married to a Canadian citizen and I am currently waiting for my PCC to apply for PR. As a plan to settle, I am thinking of taking a road trip and exiting to the US, as I also have a US visitor visa, and then re-entering Canada. However, I am concerned about being refused entry by IRCC upon my return. I have a 10-year visitor visa for Canada. Can you provide your thoughts on my situation?

There is never a 100% guarantee you will be re admitted to Canada!

Estimated processing time for outland applications is 16 months right now.

then what would you suggest please? Applying for visitor record ? since my inland pr spousal sponsorship AOR will take time to come and only then i can apply for OWP.

Same here, my background is stuck from Feb 12,2023. I called IRCC 2 weeks ago re that matter and the rep confirmed that everything is completed from their end. However, I do not see any update in the PR Tracker. Also no COPR assigned yet.

Trust me , I can not describe with words how frustrating it is. I received a pre-arrival letter Feb 16, 2023. For you, it's complete silence for 5 months. What is your timeline?

Paper file, Ottawa, IRCC received file on June 01,2022, AOR, Bio , medical was all done in August, Pre arrival Nov. after that one update is background check stared Jan.03 and complete silence.
