Why does Test Complete has value Mar 24, 2023 in the spreadsheet? Shouldn't it be Mar 28, 2023?

Hi, one question here, my spouse's background is still showing in progress while mine has got completed on Mar 14, there's no finger print request email received by my spouse, is it normal, what can we do about it?

I had the same issue, I called IRCC and then within next 2 min I got the FP request email. haha they would be able to confirm if your criminality is pending or not. Security if done it is just criminality pending which needs FP and they may be able to trigger the email to be send out.

There are two parts to BG Check: 1. Criminal history check done by RCMP 2. Security check done by CSIS. You get FP only if Criminal record check can not be completed with just name, dob, place of birth. Your spouse is likely stuck in Security check. The only way to clarify where the application is stuck is by calling IRCC or ordering GCMS notes.

Unfortunately, there is no way to expedite Security check part of the application process. Keep us posted on when their BG turns complete or if you get any further info by calling IRCC

I am in same situation , my spouse received FP and got her BG completed while mine is still in prgoress, IRCC confirmed they dont need my fingerprint but yet BG (security is in progress)

I believe I have already updated - she received it on March 8th and BG completed on March 24 for her

Just called IRCC and they confirmed no finger print required so far, so guess the security check is on ongoing.
