I didn't even realize until now that others get credentials... I also had an account under PNP and they just send me the link for the portal, I logged in, and saw my EE under Confirm your permanent residency.
Yea same. I got to know from this forum that we're technically not supposed to create the portal by ourselves for EE. IRCC is supposed to create it for you after you're approved, & send you the credentials, but if you've already created it in the past for PNP or any other reason, they'll just link your EE to it, and not send you any credentials
Might be chances that I created an account mistakenly but when I tried login or resetting the password, it doesn't allow me to login. The error says " Incorrect email and password combination. If you have an existing account, please try again or click “Forgot your password?” to reset your password. If you do not have an existing account, you will not be able to reset your password by clicking the “Forgot your password?” link.
should I email them back, explain the scenario and provide the email ID used while creating the account so that they can link the application to access the portal?
Before getting approved, I used to call 1-888-242-2100, press 2 when they get to the uci part, then press 120 in close succession when they get to the turkey/syria/afghanistan part. Doing this led to my best chance of getting them. I think there may be a different combination of keys for those who have been approved but I don't know it
Hello everyone, i am from Nigeria applying for a canada student visa, i got a PFL stating: Specifically, I have concerns that you owe $670 to the crown with regard to your application V338145284. Please provide your explanation and payment. You can contact Collection Services at 1-888-448-4426 or by email to: IRCC.FINDebtstotheCrown- DettesalaCouronneFIN.IRCC@cic.gc.ca,
This error and act is made by my friend who helped me with paying the biometric fee for canada visiting visa in year 2020 for me, my wife and the kids which i did not get any decision from ICC , i am been told to pay this money back which i already did and i sent ICC letter of explanation on what really happened without lies, i also did back my letter up with the little evidence i could gather and i also attached a proof of refund my so called friend paid back with him stating in the transaction that the money is meant for refund or canada fee he received from me.
However i also submitted bank statement of 2020 showing when i made this payment to my friend in local currency, i managed to submitted a copy of Interpol police report stating i have no criminal records. What are my chances of getting approval ? Its been 3 weeks now without response, i am so worried of what the outcome might be.

I just noticed that mistakenly I had created a representative account on PR portal using the email ID which I gave on the reply to IRCC.
What should I do next to fix this problem?

Got Portal Email #1 on March 7th.
But have an unavoidable abroad trip planned on March 13th.
Responded back to email on the same day saying: Yes i am in Canada, however have trip from xxx date to xxx date. And that can i respond once i am back to Canada.
1. How long does it take for the officer to get back?
2. Should I proceed with the trip if I don't hear from them before then?
3. What are the chances that I must cancel these tickets?
Agree. My wife is currently in Canada but she will be travelling to US in a week. I mentioned that in the original Portal email with the same and I then got the login portal which we signed today while she's in Canada.
so, did they create your login portal while you were not present in canada? and they just created for your wife? or they waited for both of you to return to canada?
After so many calls to IRCC, finally the issue is resolved. If anyone had mistakenly created an account before getting the PR confirmation email, best way is to raise a technical issue webform and explain your case. On the other hand, try calling IRCC and if it get connect, describe the issue and ask them to connect to technical support department.
In my case, I received a callback from IRCC and the issue was resolved over the call by providing a new email ID.
Hope this post help others in case they are in same situation.
