Link your PR application GC Key. The photo never gets approved.
Hi, does it truly never get approved? I adjusted the brightness, uploaded two different photos (one taken at Lon. Drugs, the other at a UPS) but it still got the error so I just submitted it like that. My address was approved the same day as I submitted the declaration.
Now I’m nervous about the wait time cuz I need to travel back home end of May (got my tickets in Nov last year) so I am crossing my fingers I get the PR card by then
If I need to push back my trip, I’ll do it. Or even apply for the PRTD from home but that also might potentially take forever.
Anyway! Sorry for the rant! Have a wonderful day

I think it's highly unlikely that you won't get your PR card within 3 months after getting ECoPR. In any case, it's a tiny problem compared to the stress of getting the first PR approval email. So I don't think you have much to worry about.
Hey, I dont think it tracks Tr to Pr application as of now, someone can confirm. And if you can let me know. Thanks
Currently, this tracker
only supports applications for
- people sponsoring a spouse, partner, or dependent child or being sponsored as one
- workers immigrating through one of the Express Entry programs:
- Canadian Experience Class
- Provincial Nominee Program
- Federal Skilled Workers Program
- Federal Skilled Trades Program

Only if you're there for more than 6 months. If you were only on a short vacation, you should be fine.

Thanks! Really hoping it won’t take that long. Can’t trust processing times lol
Just got an email about the photo - no issue with brightness but apparently I was smiling. Which I wasn’t lol so my mouth is very slightly curled on one side which I guess they thought it was me smiling so I’m gonna have to take another picture
For people who have submitted their photo:
I got this update a week after submitting it so that might be how long is taking.
Good luck everyone!
Congratulation!
May I ask which office you were when you received the GCMS on Feb 04, 2023
I received from cbsa
