I believe the same. Looks like they have easier time going through the applications based on what's happening with all 2022 online applications. Except for oath, all other things seem to be moving at a speed we have never seen before.

Hi, I'm about to apply for the citizenship as today I just completed my 3 years presence in Canada out of 5.
A colleague in my team at work told me that she received the citizenship in 4 months only! She applied August and had the ceremony 3 weeks ago.
Is that true? I thought this thing takes up to 2 years. Can someone confirm if I should be excited or not? I see some folks here getting the ceremony invitation in 6 months

The expectation is 24 months, so ensure that is what you keep in your mind you will not be Canadian until 24 months' time, it will save you a lot of stress and biting your nails lol.
but it can happen in 4 months or 6 months literally it just depends on how fast IRCC is moving.
My status says as of 20 dec, i need to provide finger prints. It says they sent me a letter or email but i have not received any of that. Can i provide prints without a print request letter? @RefugeeHelp1

My BG completed on 21 Nov afterwards i did not hear anything from IRCC for test invites. I noticed people got the test invites after few days once BG completed. I do not know but looks like they kept my file in corner. Anyone having the same situation?

Also, IRCC is moving file around in their system to offices that has more capacity to tackle the backlog so your files will be moved around OR the city you live in might get more files from all around.
They use to keep them in one place but now they stoped that and that is why we see so much movemnet on so many peoples file it just depends on how lucky you are.
Good luck
