Is it showing under process in BLS or oci website?
My oci status enquiry website whenever I press submit my passport number changes last minute, any suggestions for that?

It's the way they have implemented. Its happening for me as well, even when I am using chrome on laptop. It will start showing status as Under Process in couple of days, if not tonight.

Where does it say E-visa open for Canadians? The CGI website still says E-visa suspended

Check the consulate website. It is open

My OCI Date of Acknowledgement is also 25-Nov. It is still showing Under-Process on OCI website.

Apply for e-visa. I do not think you will get the oci before 27th Dec

Thank you very much. It's really wierd I submitted on Saturday November 26 but application date on BLS shows something so I'll just have to wait.

App filled and printed: 01 November 2022

App submitted via walk-in at BLS Brampton: 02 November 2022

BLS website: Processing at consulate general. Date of application shows 01 November 2022

OCI website: Date of Acknowledgement 22 November 2022 | Processed: 13 December 2022 | Dispatched and received Toronto consulate: 15 December 2022

Transit to BLS from Consulate: 16 December 2022.

OCIs sent from BLS and received at residence via Purolator: 20 December 2022.

It is too close to call. I suggest going to the BLS office for pickup on the 23rd Dec if they have received it. Once the Christmas weekend starts, it is difficult

Mine is Nov 24th and I have received the updated status. I applied for e-visa yesterday and I got it today. Better to apply for e-visa rather than waiting

Yes you can since you are going to upload the copy. But you need the original passport to travel

There is an open house on every Wednesday from 3 to 4.30 in consulate. You can go there and explain your situation and they will help you.

It depends on the jurisdiction, I think. I applied for my minor daughter in Toronto and no attestation needed, but had to send the original Birth Certificate and Passport. They will return them after the application status starts showing up in OCI site.

Thanks, @sid8252 . I would be applying in Toronto jurisdiction. Thanks for answering that. However, regarding originals, I was under impression that we do not have to send original. But since you are saying, you had to provide the birth certificate and passport.
